The Sindurakars form one of the nine groups of Udaaya Samaj. In the past, the Sindurakars used to weave special kind of cloth for making dresses for deities and various kinds of shawl used in Puja. However, their profession seemed to have discontinued these days. The Sindurakars number 21 households all in one kawal – Yetkha Bahal kawal. The settlements of the Sindurakars are Yetkha Bahal, Damai Tole and Hiti Fusal Yetkha. All the Sindurakars have their DiguDyo at Lazimpat.
